Hey Everyone! I receive a fair amount of questions from other fellow Americans who are considering moving to Australia. I’m always happy to help as much as I can. However, I do notice that a lot of people who are considering moving abroad find it difficult to accept that not everything is going to be 100% perfect, or go as 100% planned. This is fine. Moving overseas is very exciting, memorable and life changing. However, it doesn’t mean your native country no longer exists, or that you can no longer return.
I want to encourage those of you who are thinking about moving to really visit the country in mind. I get a lot of questions from people who make me feel like I need to figure out all of the minor details for their lives, and that’s impossible. I answered a few of your questions in this week’s video. I hope you find it useful and please keep an open mind when moving. If you’re finding more negatives than positives, then perhaps it’s not the right time for you to move.
Life is full of inconveniences. This includes moving abroad. It doesn’t mean that it has to be a dreadful experience though. Visit before you move. 🙂
