As a huge fan of Etude House beauty products, I was extremely excited to try some of their haircare from the Silk Scarf line. The first item I purchased was the Etude House Silk Scarf Moist Hair Mist. My hair is thick, long, a bit coarse and pretty much has a mind of it’s own, so I can use all the help I can get.
The fragrance of this product is as delicate as the package design suggests and reminds me of Tinkerbell perfume for those of you old enough to remember what I’m talking about. It’s light sugary and floral scent lingers in your hair. I love it!
Unfortunately, that’s the only thing I love about this product. Aside from smelling like a fairy princess, this product does absolutely nothing for my hair type at least. It doesn’t protect against heat treatments, condition, leave my hair feeling soft…or anything. It pretty much acts like a fragrance for my hair.
Again, I have very thick, long and coarse wavy hair. It may work for you if your hair type is finer, straight, naturally silky. Although I should be disappointed with this product, I still use it so much to the point where my bottle is almost empty.
Maybe in the near future I’ll try it with the complete line of Silk Scarf hair products, but on it’s own, this product, for my hair type, is unfortunately a bust.
