TONYMOLY Egg Pore Nose Pack Review

TONYMOLY Egg Pore Nose Pack Review

Up until recently, there has been but one pore strip that comes to mind here in the United States, and that pore strip isn’t all that great in my opinion. Keeping my nose clear of yucky stuff is pretty important to me, and one the main motivators to keep up with a healthy skincare regimen. I was happy to come across TONYMOLY Egg Pore Nose Pack. The packaging concept is really cute, clever, and I have had some success with TONYMOLY products thus far, so I thought, for under $5.00 for a pack of 7 nose pore sheets, why not give it a try?

Well… I have mixed feelings about these pore strips. They DO work pretty well. Not the best pore strips I’ve tired, but better than the Biore ones which are popular here in the U.S. but they smell awful. They smell like old books that were once left out in the rain. It was a little offsetting to me but I did use up all of the strips. It wasn’t so bad that I had to toss out the pack, but still not something I’d like to experience again. After all, seven times is enough.

The strips were also kind of large. I have an average sized nose. It isn’t large at all but it isn’t abnormally tiny. I was shocked at how awkward these strip were. (I know I look a bit silly but I’m cool with it). Every other strip I’ve ever tried from American, Japanese and other Korean brands fit just fine. For some reason, these were awkward. That with the scent of the TONYMOLY Egg Pore Pack Nose Strips was convincing enough for me to decide not to purchase these again or add them to the store. TONYMOLY has a lot of really great products, and some products that I’m not a huge fan of, but they are still a great company, offer affordable skincare products that are usually high in quality and their packaging is irresistible.

TONYMOLY Egg Pore Pack Nose Strips:

Pros:

heart favicon ksc Affordable at under $5.00 for a pack of 7

heart favicon ksc Effective! The pore strips work very well compared to other brands I’ve tried which were more expensive.

heart favicon ksc Kawaii concept and packaging. It was a product I looked forward to trying simply because I was excited to have them in my medicine cabinet.

Cons:

tumblr_lkl6q24eyw1qfamg6 Foul Smell. I was offset by the stale, weird smell of these nose strips.

tumblr_lkl6q24eyw1qfamg6 Awkward size. They were abnormally large compared to every other brand of pore strip I’ve ever used.
